Hair fall didn't stop
I am using minoxidile mx-5 from two weeks but hair fall was didn't stop. It is dead hair or new hair?
AskDocWeb: If the individual strands of hair that fall out are short and thinner than the rest of your hair then they are likely to be new hairs. Please note that the instructions say to consult with your doctor if hair fall continues beyond two weeks.
Livon hair gain
Hie Im using Mintop 2% as told by the doctor since 2 months. There has been no change in my hair, the time I statred using my hair fall had decreasd but now hairfall has increased. One more question, Can i use Livon hair gain and Mintop simultaneously??
AskDocWeb: We would not use any product that doesn't publish the ingredient list. Without knowing the ingredients those who have allergies may get a nasty surprise. They have no way of knowing how the product might affect them.
Coconut oil and minoxidil?
Shall we apply coconut oil to the hair simultaneously while applying minoxidil 2% to the scalp??
AskDocWeb: You would not be following the directions if you did that. Applying coconut oil or any other oil would only dilute the minoxidil and reduce its effectiveness.

Facing hair fall
Sir I'm 19 yrs old I'm facing hair fall. I went to aiims a skin dermatologist and he suggest me a multivitamin tablets and minoxidil 5% and I using it twice in a day so it will cure my loosing hair fall
AskDocWeb: It is helpful to make a distinction between a "cure" and a "treatment". Minoxidil is a treatment, not a cure. A treatment helps you cope with the symptoms of a medical condition. A cure would eliminate the symptoms by getting rid of the cause of the condition.

Hi I'm Mazharul! I'm 1yrs old male, I'm facing hair loss for nearly one years! I visited a doctor for this! He gave me Reccur tablet and ketocon, and also adviced to use minoxidil 5% for one year! but As I saw in some review that sometime minoxidil increase Hair fall Can I use 2% instead of 5% is it ok for male?
AskDocWeb: The 5% formula is stronger and more effective but the 2% formula is less likely to cause unwanted side effects. Either one can be used for men, it's your choice.
