Universal fast gain 3100
If I drank universal fast gain 3100 make me fell a drug test?
AskDocWeb: None of the ingredients in Universal fast gain 3100 are on our list of substances that might cause a false positive on urine drug tests.
I'm on probation would 200 mg ibuprofen tablets for toothache set off anything drug screen? Would old spice deodorant set off a positive for alcohol?
AskDocWeb: Several sources say that a false positive for marijuana (THC) is possible while taking ibuprofen. It appears that Old Spice makes many different deodorant products, most of which contain some form of alcohol; Alcohol Denat., Stearyl Alcohol, SD Alcohol 40. Whether there is enough to trigger a positive drug test is unknown.
Positive for PCP
Mine is actually a question, I am currently on the methodone prgram, and I am completely drug free other then the meth, i also am on probation n give urines 2times per week, mon & weds, and randoms, once a month at my progrm ive had clean urines for the past 6months, for the exception of a positive for pcp, I have not touched it for over 7yrs, the positive was 3days after my clean ua at my prgram n 2days before a clran ua at probatipn, is there anything u can offer me to do that might help me prove that im telling the truth, I have taken zertec d & benedryl allergy, im almost certain it was one of the 2 that caused it, I just dont kno what to do, it was march 3rd this year.
AskDocWeb: One of the worst aspects of getting a false positive urine test is that it puts the individual in a defensive position where they feel they have to prove their innocence. Although the principle that one is considered innocent until proven guilty is not explicitly cited in the Constitution of the United States, presumption of innocence is widely held to follow from the 5th, 6th, and 14th amendments. Put the burden of proof on them by contesting the results. If you know that you are innocent, demand to see the results of the GC/MS confirmation test.
I was wondering when the false positives list was last updated. I have a friend who keeps testing positive for thc over the "acceptable" limits. She quit cold turkey after 30years of smoking marajuana. She has been busted twoce for "dirty ua's" but the numbers are EXACTLY the same for the levels.....could this be her prescription drugs?
AskDocWeb: The false positives list was last updated June 1st, 2012.
Urine dip tests give a yes or no indication of drug abuse. In order to get numbers to quantify the level of THC they have to perform a GC/MS confirmation test. If that test shows any level of THC then it is not a false positive.
False positive for suboxone?
I just had the same problem i have been taking drug tests for a wile just got perscribed trazodone and failed for suboxen my first after thaking my trazodones is this possible
AskDocWeb: Although several people have reposted getting a false positive for suboxone, currently there is no data on what might cause that.
Lorazepam with methamphetamine?
Does mixing lorazepam with methamphetamine cause any serious short or long term side effects or be fatal?
AskDocWeb: Our database doesn't show a drug interaction between those two but that doesn't mean they are safe to use together. For that you would have to check with your doctor.
Confirmed by GC/MS
Im in pm and oxymorohine showed up on my ua and was comfirmed by gc test but I've never taken that med, the lab won't talk to me but I take stadol ns, hydrocodone, Xanax and baclofen. I forgot to tell the doc that I had some codiene that I had taken prescribed by the dic that used to be in the clinic now I can't get my meds at all and the reason I took the codiene is bc I was afraid of running out of my stronger meds due to a gap in appt with the new doc. Same clinic please help do you know of any toxicologist I could talk to? I have a feeling that the lab isn't going to say yes that's possible bc they get paid to confirm. This isn't the first bad test I've had but they were always proven false
AskDocWeb: Sorry Gloria, we cannot help you.
I'm on lexapro, metformin, and losartan. Which of these will get me in trouble on a ua?
AskDocWeb: If your UA is a typical test for "drugs of abuse" then you shouldn't have any trouble. None of those have been reported to cause a false positive drug test result.
Tested positive for cocaine
I had a driver that tested possitive for cocaine and he is absolutly possitive that he has never done drugs in his life. Here is a list of his medications cyanocobalamin injections at 1000 mg, Tramadol 50 mg, Simvastatin 40 mg, Ibuprofin 400 mg, Meprozine 50 mg, he has also been using Lotrimin Ultra and Sulfam Ethoxazole. As you can tell i really like this driver and am trying everything i can do to save his job please help me.
AskDocWeb: None of your driver's meds have been reported to show up as a false positive for cocaine. However, there are disturbing reports that people with diabetes and/or kidney disease have sometimes received false positive drug tests for cocaine. If he really didn't use cocaine then a GC/MS confirmation test will come back negative. It appears that getting a confirmation test may be the only to save a job after failing a urine test.
Tested positive for alcohol
I recently took a drug test and tested positive for alcohol and I haven't drank a drop I was wondering if the ingredient polyethylene glycol or lamotrigine would have caused this? My conformation is saying I drank an alcoholic beverage!
AskDocWeb: There is no alcohol in Lamotrigine however, Glycols (including polyethylene glycol) are alcohols that contain two hydroxyl groups (diols) so that could have caused the positive.
Positive drug test
I took an oral swab drug test for a job yesterday and it came back positive. I asked them what kind of drugs it indicated I was taking and They would not tell me but they kept asking me if I took prescription meds. i don't do drugs or even drink alcohol. The only thing I took in the last week is Tylenol sinus. Is that what could have caused my reading? I am puzzled how that test can say I have drugs in my system.
AskDocWeb: According to a Toxicology Lab Technical Brief from Dr. Joseph Graas, the Maximum Strength Tylenol Sinus gelcaps may test false positive for amphetamines.
I drank a Monster Extra strength and my drug test tested possitive for meth. I know that's what it could be cause i "DO NOT "use drugs or even drink they are telling me that is not possible, I know I am not crazy and I had not taken any other drugs other than acid reducers and Naproxen
AskDocWeb: Although Monster Extra strength has not been reported to show up as a false positive for meth there are about 50 other possible causes for that. Even the people that manufacturer the drug tests say that a false positive for meth possible.
Positive for benzos
I'm taking both Prednisone and Septra ds and my drug test showed an positive for benzos..Is this possible?
AskDocWeb: While it is possible to get a false positive for benzos on a urine test, it does not appear that you meds caused it. There are several dozen substances that may test positive for benzos on urine tests but those two drugs are not on the list. If there is any question regarding your drug test result, you should have confirmatory testing with GCMS. This will identify the exact drugs in your system.
